Obituary

Zevart (Taikian) Baronian, 84, formerly of 535 Burncoat Street, died Tuesday, June 14, in the Christopher House. Her husband of 46 years, Missak Baronian, died in 1985. She leaves 2 sons, Richard R. Baronian of Worcester and Marc L. Baronian of Sylvania, OH; a sister, Juliette Kiremitjian of Worcester; six grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Istanbul, Turkey, daughter of Avedis and Yeghsa (Berberian) Taikian, lived in Marsailles, France for 38 years, coming to Worcester in 1960. She was a member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, with a service at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel. A Dahngark service will be held during the calling hours.
