Obituary

Worcester: William P. Daly, Sr., 77, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 56 years Caron F. (Norton) Daly; 3 children, Cheryl Lambert and her husband Timothy of Oxford, William Daly Jr. and his companion Candace Goddard of CT, and Lisa Bacon and her husband Ronald of Holden; 18 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister Karen Charbonneau of Webster; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Bogart. He was predeceased by a daughter Carrie Warden and a granddaughter Cindi Bacon.


Bill was born in Worcester, son of the late William E. and Victoria (Langowski) Daly. He graduated from Commerce High School and proudly served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked as a police officer for the City of Worcester for many years. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed spending time with family and cookouts by the pool.
