Obituary

Worcester - Wayne H. Hill, 61, died suddenly at home August 21, 2013. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Judith A. (Lucier) Hill; two sons, Wayne J. Hill and his wife Jodi of Worcester and Michael J. Hill and his wife Jennifer of Shrewsbury; Christopher Black of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Wayne Hill Jr., Kaylee Hill, Logan Hill, Michael Hill, Jr., David Hill, and Lainey Hill; 2 brothers, William Hill and his wife Cecelia of Rhode Island and Robert Hill of Worcester; one sister Kathy Reynolds and her husband Bill of Falmouth; his step-mother, Myrtle Hill of Worcester, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers: Brian Hill and Donald Hill.

Wayne was born in Worcester, son of Katherine (Lucia) and Robert W. Hill. He was a social worker at the Oncology Center at Health Alliance in Leominister. Wayne enjoyed reading, playing chess, and spending time with his family.

A calling hour will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel & Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. A service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
