Obituary

Worcester: Warren "Randy" Rickards, 76, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife Lori (Gifford) Rickards; children Scott A. Rickards and his life partner, Nicole Montfredo of Worcester, Bethany J. and her husband Peter Dolimount of Leicester; Anthony Rossetti and his wife Brittany of West Boylston, and Christie King of Worcester. 4 grandchildren- Michaela, Jacob, Kathryn, and Eliana; and his long time childhood friend Marolyn (Moriarty) and her husband, Dave Dubia.

Randy was born in Brighton, Colorado, son of the late Warren and Cynthia (Pero) Rickards. He graduated from Worcester Academy and Nasson College in Sanford, ME. He worked as a computer operator for the former Morgan Construction Company for many years. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Green Hill, Pakachoag, and Holden Hills golf courses over the years. He also enjoyed bowling and playing cards, especially pitch.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Randy's memory may be made to your local animal shelter.
