Obituary

Virginia Marie Ericson, 86, died Saturday, August 13, 2005, in Autumn Village Nursing Center. She leaves a brother, Karl N. Ericson of Newark, DE, a sister, Carol K. Ericson of Worcester, a nephew, Johnathan W. Ericson and his wife Sandra Tatman of Newark, DE, and 3 nieces, Priscilla M., wife of Barry E. Wetmore of Danville, CA, Phyllis A., wife of Joseph F. Naccio of Randolph, and Sylvia S. wife of Paul R. Cynewski of Moorestown, NJ., 8 grandnieces, 2 grandnephews, and 1 great-grand nephew.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Karl E. and Bessie V. (Petterson) Ericson. She graduated from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and The New England Institute of Anatomy and Embalming. She was a nursing supervisor at Memorial Hospital, former head nurse at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and an Administrative Nursing Supervisor at Doctors (Ad Care) Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, September 17 in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Memorial Gift Fund at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main St. Worcester, MA 01608 or The Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St. Worcester, MA 01606. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. is directing arrangements.
