Obituary

Worcester - Virginia Louise (Bestehorn) Mancevice, 86, passed away at the Knollwood Nursing Center of West Boylston Friday, October 19, 2012. Her husband, Vyto A. Mancevice, preceded her in death. She leaves four sons: Mark F. Mancevice and his wife Marilyn, Peter J. Mancevice and his wife Lydia, Jeffrey D. Mancevice and his wife Kathy, and Jeremy S. Mancevice and his wife Brunilda - all of Worcester; she also leaves seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Virginia was born in Worcester, daughter of German emigrants, Franz and Frieda (Hahn) Bestehorn. She attended Clark University and was also certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at Worcester City Hospital, Westside Manor Nursing Home and Adcare for many years.

Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park at a date to be announced. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, is directing arrangements. To leave an online message for Virginia's family, please click link below or visit:
