Obituary

Worcester - Violet E. (Swenson) Johnston, 93, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010, in the Beaumont Home, Northbridge. Her husband, Roland H. Johnston, died in 1983. She leaves two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia M. and Christopher R. Vaudreuil of Hubbardston and Susan C. Turner of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.

Violet Eldora was born in Worcester, daughter of Severina (Jorgensen) and Linus Swenson. She was an assistant financial analyst in the controller's office at Norton Co., and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
