Viola M. (Roman) Mazutavich, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehab Center. Her husband of 44 years, Joseph V. Mazutavich passed away in 1983. She leaves her beloved niece Donna E. Coombs of Worcester; 2 nephews Edward P. Roman and his wife Susie of Shrewsbury and Douglas Hallbaurer and his wife Karen of Methuen; 3 grandnephews Christopher Coombs of Gardner, Nathan Coombs of TX, and Mark Roman of Worcester; a grandniece Vicki Roman of Worcester; and a great-grand nephew Noah Coombs of TX. She was predeceased by her dear brother Edward Roman.

Viola was born in Worcester, daughter of Michelina (Maskowvitch) and Anthony Roman. She graduated from Commerce High School and enjoyed being a homemaker. Viola was a wonderful cook and expert baker and was also proficient in sewing and knitting. She loved animals - especially her three dogs.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 11-12 am in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
