Obituary

Tyyne A. (Yleva) Linna, 91, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the Lutheran Healthcare Center of Worcester. Her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert E. Linna Sr., died in 1992. She leaves a son, Robert E. Linna Jr., and his wife Connie of Pittsfield, NH; a daughter, Judith Leombruno and her husband Donald of Holden; two grandchildren, Lisa Gagne and Donald Leombruno; and a great-grandson, Andrew Leombruno. Tyyne was born in Worcester, daughter of Finnish immigrants, Isak and Hilda (Asunmaa) Yleva. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church as well as their Women's Groups and the Fair committees.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Calling hours will be held from 12pm to 1:30pm. The service will be held at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Avenue, Worcester MA 01606.
