Obituary

Thomas L. Gignilliat, Sr., 69, of Douglas died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty (Hale) Gignilliat; 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cheryl, Timothy and Jonathan; 6 grandchildren, Kelly, Jessica, Nicole, Elizabeth, Holly, and Hanna. He also leaves 3 brothers and a sister: Robert, Russell, Brian,& Della. A sister, Bernice, pre-deceased him. He also leaves several nieces & nephews, brother-in-laws, & sister-in-laws.

He was a native of Worcester. He served in the army during the Korean Conflict. Retiring in 2002, Tom worked at Norton Co. for 26 years.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA on Tuesday, September 5, from 4-7 p.m. The Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers.
