Obituary

Thomas Altif, 86, passed away at home after a long illness. His wife, Ann (Pellon) Altif died in 1976. He is survived by his children Thomas Altif, Jameeli Wozniak, Paula Altif, Ralph Altif, and David Altif; his brother, Ralph Altif; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Mark Altif (1992), and two sisters, Lillian Hashem and Jean Maitland. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Mary (Awad) and Abraham Altif. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. "Duke", as he was fondly called, enjoyed the outdoors and was an animal-rights activist. He was a loving father and a devoted grandfather (Jido). He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.

There are no funeral services. Private burial in Hope Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
