Obituary

Worcester: Thaddeus C. Jones, 71, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. He leaves his wife Debra (Beckman) Jones, children Tyson Jones and Madison Jones; 3 grandchildren- Riley, Charlotte, and Jack; his former wife Mary Jones; step children Jake, and Kellie and spouse Adriana; and many friends.

Thaddeus was born in Augusta, GA, son of the late Cecil and Elaine (Fisher) Jones. He graduated from Burncoat High School and worked in the marketing department at the former Norton Company for over 27 years. He was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and enjoyed hiking and mountain climbing. He visited Mount Everest base camp twice and was involved with local doctors in studying mountain medicine. He was also very active with the Collins Foundation in Stowe, participated in the Factory of Terror for 6 years at Halloween, and was a friend of Bill W.
