Obituary

Worcester—Susan (Asadoorian) Shapazian, 74, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, at home. Her husband, John Shapazian, died in 1987. She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, John Shapazian, Jr. and Nafie Saba-Shapazian of Shrewsbury; her daughter, Teresa Shapazian of Leicester; her sister, Mary Asadoorian of Worcester; and two grandchildren, Louis K. Shapazian and Ani Marie Shapazian of Shrewsbury.

Susan was born in South Portland, Maine, daughter of Krikor and Azniv (Fashjian) Asadoorian. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Worcester. She worked as a sales clerk in the Men's Dept. at R.H. White's and retired from the Medical Record's Dept. at City Hospital. In her younger years, Susan was a member of the National Ski Patrol and the AYF. She loved spending time with her grandchildren at the family home in Old Orchard Beach. She was a member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

Funeral services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, on Tuesday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m. A calling hour will be held at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
