Obituary

Worcester: Stephen F. Williston, 68, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. His wife of 45 years, Linda (Garceau) Williston predeceased him in June of this year. He was predeceased his brother- Jim Williston He leaves 3 sons- Trever, Justin and Christopher Williston; 4 grandchildren- Matthew, Tyler, Cameron, and Alyssa; and close friends Carrie Shilale, and Brian and Katelyn DiMarzio, also a brother John Williston.
Steve was born in Worcester, son of the late Harold and Lois (MacCaren) Williston. He graduated from Girl's Trade School and Quinsigamond Community College. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a System Analyst at GTE. Serving as President of the Lincoln Village Tenant Association for over twenty years, Stephen was always there help neighbors in his community. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St Worcester, MA 01605.
