Obituary

Stephen Paul Banks, 35, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth (Suarez) Banks, his daughter, Stephanie P. Banks, his mother, Joan A. (Dunford) Banks, and his sister, Gail K. Banks all of Boylston; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Pittsfield, son of the late Paul J. Banks. Stephen graduated from Tahanto Regional High School and attended the Stockbridge School at UMass Amherst. He was a paver for B & B Asphalt Services. Stephen was a fan of Jimmy Buffett and the Red Sox. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved daughter (little Miss Magic).

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester with a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Friday, Sept. 15, from 4-8 p.m. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N.
