Obituary

Holden - Stanley C. Johnson, 95, died peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2012, at the Oakdale Nursing Center. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois L. (Ljungberg) Johnson; sister, Lorraine Strang of NH; and several nephews and nieces. Stanley was born in Lynn, MA, son of Clara (Swanson) and Clarence E. Johnson. He graduated from M.I.T. in 1939 with a degree in Engineering. He then worked as a professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and then for U.S. Steel and Norton Co. Mr. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church in Holden.

A graveside service at All Faiths Cemetery, 9 Island Road, Worcester will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, November 29. Rev. Jerry Heslinga will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
