Obituary

Sudbury: Shirley J. (Morse) Rogers, 87, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at home.

She was the wife of the late Eugene Rogers for 59 years. Born in Worcester on November 20, 1926, daughter of the late Robert and Carolyn Morse, Mrs. Rogers worked at Carleton Willard Village Bedford for 20 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Waltham.

She leaves a son, Jeffrey and his wife Jean of Northborough, two daughters, Susan P. Gibson and her husband Philip Gibson of Maynard and Judy A. Hall and her husband Wayne Hall of Sudbury; six grandchildren- Ashley, Philip and Christopher Gibson of Maynard and Julie, Steven, and Michael Rogers of Northborough; a sister-in-law Opal Morse of Worcester, and nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 9-10 am in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605.
