Obituary

Worcester - Shirley A. (Kender) Dirsa, 75, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. She leaves her husband, James J. Dirsa, Sr., four children, Cheryl Stacey and her husband Thomas of Colorado, Charlene MacNeil and her husband David of Northbridge, Cynthia Coulombe and her husband Peter of Marlborough, and James J. Dirsa, Jr., of Worcester; two brothers, Donald and John Kender; one sister, Linda Soares; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces & nephews. Shirley was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Blanche (LaPrade) and John Kender.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Sunday, October 6, from 2-4 pm. The funeral service will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 7, at 11 am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
