Obituary

Worcester - Sean Fitzgerald, 48, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2015 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Ray I. Fitzgerald. Sean leaves his mother, Carol A. (Rezuke) Fitzgerald, 2 brothers, Timothy Fitzgerald and his wife Theresa, Patrick Fitzgerald and fiancée Kimberly Navin, 3 sisters, Rose Bigger, Maureen McGraw and husband Brian, Kathleen Wilson and husband Thomas, 2 children he loved and raised as his own, Patrisha and Sean McElroy, and many nieces and nephews. Sean was a 1986 graduate of Worcester Vocational Technical School. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. His favorite past times included playing the lottery, working on cars, and playing baseball with family and neighborhood friends. Sean was a jokester and always ready for a good time and new adventure. Overall, he was a friendly, compassionate, genuine person who was always there to help when needed. Even in death he is helping others as an organ donor. That is what we loved him for and one of the many reasons he will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held Monday, December 7 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. from 4-7pm. A prayer service will be held at 7pm.
