Obituary

Oxford: Sean R. Broughey, Sr. passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. He leaves a son Sean Broughey, Jr. of Worcester MA; a daughter Emiley Broughey of Worcester MA; his mother Marilyn (Briggs) Wilson; siblings Annette Boykins, Scott Wilson, Venecia Briggs, and Natasha Briggs-Tobin; Nieces & Nephews; Bianca Briggs, Katerina Briggs, Michael Briggs, Nicholas Briggs, Drusilla Briggs, Marco Briggs, Clinton Boykin, Shanique Briggs, Sasha Boykin. He was predeceased by a brother Michael A. Briggs.

Sean was born in Worcester, son of Lester W. Broughey and Marilyn (Briggs). He attended Voke High School and worked as a dispatcher for the Yellow Cab Company. He enjoyed playing video games, and was a lover of Sci-Fi and Super Hero movies. Sean had an amazing sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He will be missed.
