Obituary

Winchendon: Scott C. Lyonnais, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Henry Heyward Hospital, Gardner. He leaves his fiance, Melissa Gormley; his mother and step-father- John and Linda Nasis of Millbury; his father and step-mother- Steven and Diane Lyonnais of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 children- Justin, Tyler, Alyssa, and Kaylee Lyonnais; Siblings- Steven R. Lyonnais, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Japan; Sean M. Lyonnais and his wife Paula of Shrewsbury, and Kristina Hyslop and her husband Adrian of Lowell; Nephews Steven, Timothy, Cody , Christopher, Brendan and Evan; and many close friends.

Scott was born at the Clark Air Force Base in the Phillipines, grew up in Westminster and Winchendon, graduated from Monty Tech, and worked as a mechanic and carpenter. He enjoyed cars, anything automotive, and building and fixing things. He was an avid Celtics and Patriots fan.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecelia's Church, Leominster, MA. Burial will be at a later date.
