Obituary

Sara Lynn "Sally" Mallard, 70, of 19 Waterford Drive, died Tuesday, August 5, at home.

She leaves several cousins, including Kathryn Yarborough of Charlotte, N.C. A brother, Matthew A. Mallard, III, died in 2001. She was born in Augusta, Ga., daughter of Matthew A. and Edna L. Mallard, and lived many years in this area. Miss Mallard was a secretary at Anna Maria College, Paxton, before retiring. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. A graveside service was held Monday, Aug. 11, in Rural Cemetery.
