Obituary

S. June (Abajian) Lougie, 78, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005, in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Benjamin Lougie; 2 sons, Stephen B. Lougie and his wife Ann of Worcester and David B. Lougie of Shrewsbury; 3 daughters, Dr. Linda J. Prystupa and her husband Edward, of Wilbraham, Deborah J. Esposito and her husband James of Holden, and Nancy J. Lougie of Oxford; 9 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

June was born in Watertown, daughter of John and Alice (Ashjian) Abajian and graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Jr. College. She was office manager of the Mechanics/Bliss Co. for many years. June was a member of All Saints Church and its Nenana Group, a member and former secretary of the Women of All Saints, and was an avid reader—especially of current and world events.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 8/5, at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, 8/4, from 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Memorial Fund at All Saints Church or the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St.
