Obituary

Auburn—Ruthe M. (Thompson) Noonan, 86, died July 21, 2008, in Medellin, Columbia, South America. She was the widow of James W. Noonan who died in 2001. Ruthe was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, daughter of Archie and Vonja (Holm) Thompson. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was a proofreader for the Boston Globe for many years. She leaves one son, David J. Noonan and his wife Maria Elena of Medellin, Columbia; two grandsons, Todd M. Noonan and his wife Sandra Catalina and Glenn D. Noonan and his wife Luz-Omaira; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Church Street, West Boylston. For on-line condolences, please click on link below.
