Obituary

Hyannis—Ruth I. (Kasparson)Vinton, 93, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, in the Cape Regency Rehab Center. Her husband, Lt. Col. Russell W. Vinton died in 1979. She leaves a son, Phillip R. Vinton of Hyannis; 2 granddaughters, Rene M. Mendes of W. Yarmouth and Christine A. Chambre of FL; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was born in Worcester, daughter of Andrew and Alma (Person) Kasparson. She graduated from Commerce High School. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in W. Barnstable.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held at 12 Noon, followed by the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
