Obituary

Ruth E. (Quist) Turner, 93, of Auburn Street, died Monday, October 20, 2003,in Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Raymond E. Turner, died in 1966.

She leaves 2 sons, Douglas W. Turner of Chatham and Bruce B. Turner of Rockport; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. Two brothers, Robert and Carl Quist, and 1 sister, Alice Olson, preceded her in death.

She was born in Woburn, daughter of Carl E. and Brita C. (Backman) Quist. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and attended Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Turner was a lover of the Arts.

The funeral service will be held at 12 O'clock Noon, Thursday, Oct. 23, in NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. A calling hour will be held 1 hour before the service.
