Obituary

Ruth H. (Lindblad) Gustafson, 93, of 14 Birchwood Dr., died Thursday, December 4, 2003, at UMass Memorial Hospital. Her husband of 67 years, Dr. Enar O. Gustafson, died in 1999.

She leaves a daughter, Joyce C. Stone of Mashpee and Hutchinson Island, Florida; 2 sisters, Dorothy L. Lindblad of Rye Beach, NY and Charlotte T. Lofstedt of Shrewsbury; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great- great-grandson.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Judith M. (Erickson) Lindblad. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Worcester. She was a member of Belmont Street Baptist Church, where she was also a bell ringer and choir member. She was a secretary for Worcester Awning Co. for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. A calling hour will be held 1 hour before the service. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Belmont Street Baptist Memorial Fund, 25 Belmont St., Worcester, MA 01605.
