Obituary

Worcester: Ruth V. "Ginny" (Libby) Peters, 99, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves a daughter Linda V. Hazard (Louis); 2 sons William (Deborah) and Mark (Donna) Peters; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Theodore D. Peters, with whom she is now reunited, and by a brother Raymond D. Libby.
Ginny was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Hallberg) Libby. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked at the Sterling Five and Dime. She volunteered as a Brownie Leader and was a member of a Bowling League in Auburn, MA. She also enjoyed reading, music and spending summers at Cape Cod.

The Family wishes to thank Dr. Paul and Maryann Dufault for their compassion and kindness during her illness.

There are no services at this time. A celebration of life and burial will take place at a later date in Cape Cod. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605 is assisting the family with arrangements.
