West Boylston: Russell W. Anderson, Jr., 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus following a short-lived illness. He leaves behind two sons - Russell W. Anderson III and Spencer G. Anderson; his brother Robert D. Anderson and his wife Laura Anderson. He was predeceased by his sister Judith B. Anderson.

Russell was born in Worcester, son of the late Russell W. Anderson Sr. and Marguerite Berg Anderson. He graduated from Wilbraham Monson Academy, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and earned his JD Degree from Boston University. He worked as an Attorney practicing law in Worcester, MA for many years taking over the family law practice after his father retired. Russell proudly served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and participating in local farmers markets.

Russell was a very kind generous soul. He always took care of his family first and made time to help his friends when they were in need. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and relatives.
