Obituary

North Grafton: Roy J. Johnson, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Heathwood Healthcare Center in Chestnut Hill following an illness. He leaves his wife Karen (Sarkala) Johnson; a son Matthew Johnson of Somerville; a daughter Sharon Crosby of Australia; 3 granddaughters; a sister Franki Denny ; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters- Roberta Jobin and Cindy Rapoza.

Roy was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Roy Dodds and Roberta Johnson. He graduated from Natick High School and Northeastern University. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and worked for many years as a mechanical engineer for Xenon Corporation in Wilmington. He enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends.
