Obituary

Rosamond I. (Wykes) Hanson, 89, formerly of Holden, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, in The Highlands of Fitchburg.

She leaves her husband of 67 years, Roland Hanson; a daughter, Joann Drown of Sterling; and two granddaughters, Kristen Drown of Manhattan and Arlene Roffee of Holden. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Herbert B. and Catherine T. (Fitzwilliam) Wykes. Mrs. Hanson was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Worcester and the John Ericsson Vasa Lodge of America.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2003, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
