Obituary

Berlin: Ronald C. Ackley, 89, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family after an illness. He leaves two sons, Scott and his wife Gwen of Jefferson; Brett and his wife Ann, of Hudson. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Alma (Walker) Ackley in 2016.

Ronald was born in Worcester, son of the late Ervin and Dulcie (Bostock) Ackley. He graduated from Northboro High School, class of '54. Proudly served in the US Army for 2 years. He worked as the Plate room Lead in the printing department at R.R. Donnelley Company for many years. He was a member of Berlin Historical Society. He enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, watching the Red Sox and going to car shows with his two boys.

A celebration of life will be held March 23, 11 am at Berlin Congregational Church
