Obituary

Roland F. Lof, 93, formerly of 1 Longwood Avenue, died Friday, January 28, 2005, in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. His wife of many years, Dorothy M. (Gadde) Lof, died in 1979. He leaves a son and daughter-in-law, David R. and Peggy Lof of Auburn; and a daughter, Janet D. Lof, of Reseda, CA. He was predeceased by a son, Norman R. Lof, and his brother and sister.

He worked at Norton Co. for many years in the diamond products stockroom. Roland was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and its choir, the Greendale Retired Men's Club, Massachusetts Audubon Society, Aleppo Temble, and Athelstan Lodge AF&AM. He was a Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason and sang in the Scottish Rite choir. Roland was an avid golfer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, in Epworth United Methodist Church. Burial will be private in All Faiths Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund, 64 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. is directing arrangements.
