Obituary

County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers; memorial contributions Robert J. Lovejoy, 79, of Saratoga Dr. passed away on July 30, 2005 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Charlotte A. (Kimball) Lovejoy; 3 daughters, Deborah Savage of North Brookfield, Rebecca Solo of Michigan, and Kimberly Lovejoy of Worcester; a son, Robert J. Lovejoy, Jr., of Revere; a sister, Shirley Stevens of Amherst; and many nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Donald and Bradford, predeceased him.

Robert was born in Worcester, son of Bradford and Lillian (Firmes) Lovejoy and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He worked as a supervisor for the George Meyer Co. for 37 years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of Chaffin Congregational Church in Holden.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, in Worcester may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. is directing arrangements.
