Obituary

Robert Anthony Farrar, Jr., 69, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He leaves a son, four daughters, and their mother, Robert A. Farrar III and wife Shinae of Southbridge, MA, Deborah J. LeBlanc and husband Michael of Oxford, MA, Karen E. Lamontagne and husband Mark of CT, Jennifer L. Farrar of Worcester, MA, Bonnie Marie Vickers, and Susanne (Hutchinson) Farrar of North Grosvenordale, CT; a sister Beverly A. Farrar of Worcester, MA; 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Cassidy, Andrew, Michael, and Gillian; and several nephews & nieces. A sister Carol Farrar died in 2003.

Bob was born in Worcester, son of Marian V. (Alexander) and Robert A. Farrar, Sr. He worked as a security guard. Bob was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed fishing, hanging out at Elm Park, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, on Monday, May 7, from 5-8pm.

The funeral service will be at Nordgren's on Tuesday, May 8, at 10am. Entombment will follow in St. John's Cemetery & Mausoleum in Worcester.
