Obituary

Charlton - Robert J. "Bobby" Lovely, 48, passed away peacefully in the Masonic Home on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, surrounded by his loving family after a long struggle with cancer. He leaves a son, Joseph S. Lovely of Lowell; his father, Elwood V. Lovely; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Mark Lovely of North Brookfield, Denise Javery and wife Tracy of Rochdale, Michael Lovely and wife Kelly of Charlton, Leandra, and David; a grandson, Brandon; best friend Muzzy, his companion of many years Donna, and beloved cat Mowgli.
Bobby was born in Worcester, son of the late Julia C. (Seaver) Lovely. He served in the United States Navy, earning 2 Bronze stars. He resided in Florida for a few years and worked as a long-haul truck driver for Windy Hill. Bobby was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Calling hours will be held Friday, January 28, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the staff at the Masonic Home for their compassionate and loving care of Bobby during his illness.
