Richard N.
Renzoni
Aug 2, 1943 — Sep 4, 2026
Millbury
Richard N. Renzoni, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026 at CareOne in Millbury. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Linda (Vaillancourt) Renzoni of Millbury; two daughters Donna “DMRGG” Renzoni of Hudson and Jody Hidenfelter and her husband Bryan of Terrell, TX; two grandchildren Carlie and Cameron Perkins; and two sisters Barbara Engwall and Lu Ann Pacenka. He was predeceased by his four siblings Michael Renzoni, Nicholas Renzoni, Patricia Auger, and Carol “Cookie” Lawson.
Rich was born in Worcester on August 2, 1943, son of the late Nicholas and Louise (Szuba) Renzoni. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. In 1978, he opened Madigan’s Again which he owned and operated with great dignity until closing in 2020 due to Covid. He created lasting memories for many at his bar through the Christmas parties he held there each year. Additionally in 1978, Rich was among the founding members of the Worcester Darts League. In addition to playing darts, he enjoyed golf, racket ball, and softball.
Rich was a huge New York Yankees fan, standing by his team with spirit and conviction even while most of his family rooted for the Red Sox. Above all, he loved his family. He especially loved his grandchildren deeply, and the happiness they brought him was a cherished part of his life. His granddaughter Carlie always affectionately called him “Stinky” and would ask him for $20.00. Rich, true to form, would give her the twenty dollars each time.
Memorial calling hours for Rich will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4pm-6pm at Nordgren Funeral Home, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home. To leave an online condolence message, please click on the link.
