Obituary

WORCESTER- Richard P. Dolan, 76, of Johnston, R.I. formerly of Worcester, died Wednesday April 7, 2004 at his home. His wife Ruth V. (Rankin) Dolan died in 1989. He leaves a son Jay P. Dolan of Morrisville, VT., a daughter Jan M. Falkenstern of Johnston, R.I. with whom he lived. Four grandchildren Melissa A. Falkenstern R.N. of Arlington, VA., Sean M., Michael P. and Sara Dolan all of Vermont, and several nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester, son of Henry and Gertrude (Karling) Dolan. He served post WWII in the Navy on the U.S.S. Fargo. He worked many years and retired from Norton Co.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 11:00 a.m at the Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park Paxton. Calling hours will be Monday April 12, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
