Obituary

Richard E. Carlson, 66, of Breck Street, died Sunday, November 20, 2005, at home. He was born in Worcester, son of Carl and Hazel (Edgerly) Carlson and was a graduate of Boys Trade School. He was a machinist for the Jamesbury Co. for over 40 years. He served in the Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post #205 in Rochdale. Richard was an avid reader and history buff.

He is survived by a son, Michael A. Carlson and his wife Susin of Framingham, a daughter Amy L. Rawson and her husband Martin of Willington, CT; a sister, Nancy Wysocki and her husband Leo of Chicago, IL; an aunt, Marie Roach of Auburn; an uncle, Clarence Edgerly of California; and 3 cousins, Roger Mercier of West Virginia, Francis Mercier, and Donald Howard, both of Spencer; and a grandchild, Paige Rawson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
