Obituary

Worcester: Richard L. Boeninghaus, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare Center-University Campus surrounded by his loving family. He leaves three daughters, Dawn Perez, Theresa Malloy, Mary Boeninghaus, and two sons, Richard Boeninghaus Jr. and Anthony Boeninghaus. He was predeceased by his wife Mary E. (Shine) Boeninghaus on November 2, 2014.

Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Charles and Mary (Gibson) Boeninghaus. He attended school in New York and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the war in Vietnam. He enjoyed long walks on the beach and watching films.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to Dawn Perez. For directions or to leave an online condolence message, please click link below.
