Stark
July 4, 1965 – April 16, 2026
Boylston- Rebecca L. Stark, 60, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2026 at home, surrounded by family. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Jenna Stark-Chaplin of Boylston, sister Deborah Temple and her husband Michael Temple of Sterling; nephews Devin Temple, of Boylston, and Zachary Temple, of NH, and many cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Marion Stark in 2016, her son Nathan Stark in 2017, and her father Robert Stark in 2024.
Becky was born in Holden, MA on July 4th, 1965. She grew up in Boylston and she was a part of Tahanto’s graduating class of 1983. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be a nurse, she went to David Hale Fanning in Worcester where she received her practical nursing license in 1989. After becoming an LPN, she went on to work in pediatrics and assisted living. For a majority of her nursing career, she worked at Notre Dame Du Lac Assisted Living Community, in Worcester. There was nothing she loved more than helping and caring for others, always going above and beyond for her patients, she truly loved what she did.
Becky loved to travel, the spark for that love started in 1982, when her sister Deborah and her went on an exchange trip to Germany where they spent one month with their exchange family. A year later, She spent some time abroad in Ireland exploring and surrounding herself with dear friends, and her adopted Irish family. As much as she loved going overseas, she was also a homebody. She enjoyed going to Fort Foster Beach up in Kittery, Maine, and Orlando, Florida. She was an avid reality TV show watcher, with a love for true crime podcasts and documentaries as well. Surrounding herself with family and friends was her favorite thing of all. She loved spending time with her daughter, sister, cousins, and of course, her rescue dog Gunner. She loved hosting holidays and parties, making sure the house was decorated for every occasion, and always made sure to have the best home cooked meals on the table.
