Obituary

Bristol, CT - Raydon G. Bell, 65, died Monday, October 17, 2011, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Josephine H. (Swatik) Bell; three sons, Gregory Bell and his wife, Kathy, Gary W. Bell, and Chester A. Bell; a brother, Gary N. Bell and his wife, Donna; five grandchildren, Rhiannon, Joseph, Joshua, Olivia, and Molly; one great-grandson, Brady; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Chester J. Bedore.

Raydon was born in St. Albans, Vermont, son of the late Mildred (Griggs) and Robert H. Bell. He was a former member of the Hartford Yacht Club and a member of the Plainville Fish & Game Club. He was a self-employed professional driver in the specialized trucking industry.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at DAV Hall, 191 Riverside Ave., Bristol, CT from 1-5 p.m.
