Obituary

Worcester: Rafael R. Cepeda, 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife Awilda (Santiago) Cepeda; 3 children- Nancy Gonzalez, Javier Cepeda and Rafael Cepeda and his wife Jenny; 8 grandchildren- Adreanna, Justin, Adam, Javier, Anthony, Rafael, Brady, and Luis; 4 great grandchildren- Aniyah, Jeidez, Jeisly, and Mila; siblings Amy, Fanny, Cesar, Mercy, Guillermo, and Gienella; and many nieces and nephews.

Rafael was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, son of Rafael and Graciela (Villa) Cepeda. He graduated from High School and worked for many years doing maintenance at various apartment complexes over the years. He was a talented handy man, who could fix most anything and enjoyed trying his luck with scratch tickets and spending time with family. He loved watching old cowboy movies and listening to music from his country.
