Obituary

Worcester: Qako Dhono, 79, passed away on Friday January 13, 2017 at UMASS Healthcare- University Campus. He leaves his wife of 50 years- Mini (Dine) Dhono; a son and daughter-in-law Ilir and Suela Dhono; a daughter and son-in-law Marsla and Ferdinant Pelteku of Albania; and 2 grandchildren- Ina and Teodor Dhono.

Qako was born in Albania, son of the late Dheodhor and Sava Dhono. He graduated from High School and then worked as a mechanic on various machines in Albania before coming to the United States. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Church, enjoyed listening to Albanian music, watching soccer, and fixing things.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 10:30-12:30 at Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Church, 535 Salisbury St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
