Obituary

Barre- Philip P. Baronowski, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 At UMass University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 62 years Evelyn (Pelosi) Baronowski; a son James and his wife Jacalyn of Thompson, CT; two daughters Cheryl Warner and her husband Cliff of Alabama, and Karen Strom of Barre, MA; two brothers Stephen Baronowski and his wife Joanne, and David Baronowski and his wife Mary; two sisters Linda Mahoney and her husband Brian, and Cynthia Kachadorian and her husband Mark; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Philip Baronowski, Jr. and siblings Stanley Baronowski, Roger Baronowski, Susan Baronowski, and Marilyn Stacy.

Phil was born in Worcester, son of the late Peter and Hilda (Green) Baronowski. He graduated from Commerce High School and then went on to work at Reed Rolled Thread in Holden. He was a past member of the Main South Post. He was an avid and talented golfer. Most of all, Phil loved to spend his time with Evelyn.

A graveside service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester on Friday September 20th at 11:00am. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association.
