Obituary

Worcester : Pauline S. "Polly" Copp, 99, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 in Beaumont Nursing Center, where she resided over the past several years. She leaves her cousin Aulie Valanzola (Copp) and family. Polly was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Cheney and Myrtle (Whitney) Copp. She graduated from North High School, Class of 1937, and Becker Business College. Miss Copp worked for many years as an accounts adjuster at the former State Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of St. Michael's on-the-Heights Church, where she taught Sunday School and was involved in various church groups. She was also a lifetime member of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. A graveside service, committal, and burial will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cherry Valley Cemetery in Leicester.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at St. Michaels on-the-Heights Church on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Michael's on-the-Heights, 340 Burncoat St., Worcester MA 01606.
