Obituary

Shrewsbury—Paul A. Swanberg, 73, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at home surrounded by his family. His wife, Joyce E. (Nordgren) Swanberg, died in 1971. He leaves his daughter, Wendy E. Gagliardi and her husband Stephen, 3 grandchildren Kristie and Michael Gagliardi and Kaitlyn Swanberg and her mother Dian Auger. He also leaves his beloved Yorkie, Lexus, and many close friends. He was predeceased by a son, Mark P. Swanberg, who died in 1994. Paul was born in New Canaan, CT and was the son of Edith (Steelman) and Ernest Swanberg. He was a graduate of Commerce High School. He worked in security for Verizon and served in the National Guard. Paul was a member of Chapel at the Mill in Millbury. He was a minister at various correctional facilities.

Funeral services will be held at Triumphant Life Church, 102 Randolph Road, Worcester, Tuesday, June 17, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Missions, P.O.
