Obituary

Worcester--Paul F. Loconto, 84, died Monday, August 23, 2004 at the Christopher House of Worcester. His wife of 43 years, Barbara (Tangring) Loconto, died in 1986. He leaves a son, Stephen A. Loconto of Hubert, NC; 3 daughters, Sandra J. Bjorklund of Myrtle Beach, NC, Paula A. McCue, and Linda J. Reynolds both of Worcester; 2 sisters, Theresa Christedes of Shrewsbury and Dorothy Loconto of Hyannis; a brother, Joseph Loconto of Worcester; and 4 grandsons. Mr. Loconto was born in Worcester, son of Angelo and Assunta (Deieso) Loconto. He worked for many years as an assembler at Modern Manufacturing Co.

Mr. Loconto was a graduate of Worcester schools and served with the US Army during WWII, seeing action in Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign War.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 26th in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A calling hour will be held at 10 a.m. before the funeral service.
