Obituary

Paul T. Blackwood, 49, of Paxton died Friday, April 1, 2005, in Saint Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife, Susan J, (Kwasniewski), Blackwood; 2 sons, Ted P. Blackwood of North Carolina and Jay T. Blackwood serving with the United States Marines; his parents, Clyde and Dorothea (Eums) Blackwood; 2 sisters, Linda E. and her husband Nicholas Ferrantella of Nantucket and Robin and her husband William Woodward of Washington D.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was born in Nantucket and graduated from Harwich High School. He worked for many years for Mac Tool Distributors and then founded his own business, P. T. Blackwood Tool Co. Paul was an avid NASCAR racing fan and attended many races throughout the country. He was a fun-loving and generous person who loved boating and cruising.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, at 12:00 Noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02110
