Obituary

Cromwell, CT—Paul G. Bergstrom, 100, died, Friday, May 20, 2005, at Pilgrim Manor Care Center. He was born in Worcester, MA, and was the son of Gustaf E. and Hilma J. (Berggren) Bergstrom. He was a life-long member of Salem Covenant Church in Worcester, where he also sang in the men's choir. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (Carlson) Bergstrom in 1946. Paul moved to Covenant Village of Cromwell in 1979 and became an integral part of the community.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, at All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 27, in the chapel of Covenant Village of Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem Covenant Church, 215 E. Mountain St Worcester MA 01606 or to the Benevolent Care Fund of Covenant Village of Cromwell. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA is directing arrangements.
